Girls Evolve: Keep them in school
While the girl child continues to face a multitude of challenges, poverty is at the core. It is the major obstacle to girls' education characterized by high school dropout rates (91.3%). True, education is free but school supplies and uniforms are not - leading to a proportion of 59.5% deprived of access to education.
Hence the campaign dubbed, "KEEP THEM IN SCHOOL”. It is a campaign to increase girls' access to education, retention, and completion. It supports '000s of vulnerable girls attending Universal Primary Education (UPE) with an annual budget of $20 per girl for school supplies and a uniform.
