"Powerless Empowered" aims at improving the welfare of orphans and vulnerable children
Justification
Orphans are some of the most vulnerable children in the world whether orphaned by the HIV/AIDS epidemic, civil conflict, and so need comprehensive support that addresses shelter, safety, food, education, healthcare, cultural preservation, and emotional well-being.
Our Approach
- Supporting OVCs through provision of basic needs.
- Increasing opportunities for orphans and vulnerable children to access education.
- Advocate for the safety of children and rights including comprehensive programs to combat child trafficking and child labor.
- Improving access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene.
- Advocate for increased access to health care and health care resources in the less developed communities.

The project is implemented in the East and central parts of Uganda.
We accept cash and non cash donations in form of food, clothing, beds, bedsheets, mattresses, blankets, shoes, school supplies and directly sponsoring a vulnerable child.
